Edit Three-legged race, Glasgow Academy, 1956

THESE days we are all bombarded with information about the obesity epidemic and a new generation of TV and computer- fixated couch potatoes.
It was all a lot simpler back in 1956, when the traditional school sports day was still a major event. These youngsters from Glasgow Academy have obviously been practising for the three-legged race at the school's playing fields in New Anniesland.
